Kamal and Rajnikanth were the first celeb VIPs to vote!

As the entire country was quite busy casting their votes, the first celebrity VIPs to vote today was Rajinikanth and Kamala Hassan. Rajinikanth, who resides in Poes Garden that falls under the constituency of Central Chennai, was the first celebrity personality to cast his vote in the Stella Marys College for Women polling booth. Post voting, the actor said he was so happy to vote.

Following this, actor Kamala Hassan who resides in Alwarpet voted in a polling booth at a corporation school that is in Teynampet. After voting, Ulaganayan revealed that every eligible member resident of the country must vote to prove that we are strong democracy. It is a noteworthy fact that Kamal Hassan has went on to campaign a video that insisted people to cast their vote for the right candidate rather selling it for money.
